Overview

Thanks to our engineering expertise and solid experience in the field, we are able to transform innovative concepts into commercially viable products. Our industrial design process integrates key stages from initial conception to production in series, guaranteeing optimum quality and efficiency.

Being in charge of both design and production enables us to keep an eye on industrial design throughout the entire development process. The industrialization phase brings the product design into line with mass production requirements. At this stage, it’s important to optimize the product for long-term reliability and cost. As a result, the products we design are already optimized to meet the needs of the production phase.

Industrial design at the concept stage

As a global design office, DK Innovation handles both design and production. This enables us to think about production right from the initial designs.

Our electronics industrialization process begins with the design phase. Our team of experienced engineers works closely with our customers to understand their needs and specifications. We use advanced modeling and simulation tools to create virtual prototypes, enabling a preliminary assessment of product functionality and performance. This iterative approach enables us to optimize the design before moving on to the physical prototyping phase.

Thanks to our expertise in electronic and mechatronic manufacturing, and our state-of-the-art equipment (SMD line, 3D printers, machining centres, etc.), we can rapidly produce functional prototypes. These prototypes enable us to carry out in-depth tests to validate the design, assess product durability and reliability, and make any necessary improvements to the industrial design. Our agile approach enables us to reduce development times while maintaining high quality standards.

Our team of manufacture engineers and technicians work closely with our procurement department to select high-quality electronic components and reliable suppliers. Our teams are agile and adaptable, finding solutions for every situation.

Long-term reliability

At DKI Robotics, we attach great importance to the quality of our products. We have implemented a rigorous quality control system throughout the electronics industrialization process. Our products undergo extensive testing to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability. We carry out climatic and ageing tests, using specialized machines. We also carry out numerous visual and functional tests at various stages of the robotic project development process.

This also limits the problems of coherence and understanding that could arise between 2 separate entities responsible for design or manufacturing.

Industrial design therefore takes place throughout project development. It continues to be developed with the first prototypes, right up to the start of the production phase.
